Super delicious food

We like to be guests in the Taverna Mythos. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Price / performance ratio is right and the service is great. The terrace is very pleasant in summer. It is advisable to reserve on Fridays, otherwise it is difficult to find space.

I don't even know why so many were not satisfied with the service. I can only speak of myself, but whether it is the service or the food, I can give 5 stars !!! Also as far as the price-performance ratio is concerned, everything is OK!

Tip top Gyros ...

First of all, the food was okay, nothing more and nothing less. There was a lack of seasoning in every component. Rice, gyros, or the meat on a skewer all tasted weak and ... well boring. But it was fried well. But what was worse, the service. No smile, at no time a friendly word, neither as a greeting nor to say goodbye. When the food came we were barked at who had what. It was the same at the next table. Somehow we always had the feeling of being bothered. We never felt welcome. That's why we won't come back.

We have been there several times because the price-performance ratio is actually very good. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the service leaves more and more to be desired. A smile or a polite answer doesn't cost anything, but it makes all the difference! You don't really feel welcome. Were there recently at noon with 15 people, schnapps before or after - no result! What a shame.

The three stars are only given because the food was good. The service scary!

We have rarely or never been so unfriendly dismissed, insolence and shame for the industry! Spontaneously with 7 hungry men we came to the restaurant last Saturday at 16:50 to "quickly" (max. 1 hour) something to eat. Outrageously casually a gentleman (waiter? Owner) asked us if we had reserved what we denied and politely advised us to only stay for a while to eat something. Whereupon this ignorant and friendly guy said ... "Many want that" ... turned and walked away. We wish the Taverna myth that it will soon only live up to its name and will be taken over by innkeepers who understand and love their craft.

We were in the tavern for dinner today. My children and I each had a scalloped dish with Metaxa sauce. Both meals were delicious. The service was nice, not overly friendly, but polite. My husband had a grill plate, unfortunately it was very unseasoned .... Therefore only 4 stars. Conclusion, those who like to bake are in good hands here. If you prefer grill plates, you should try your luck somewhere else.

Top Greece restaurant. Big portions for a good price. During the winter can be a problem to get a place inside, specially on the weekend. Even so, perfect. In the summer they have a nice outside place.

Really delicious food ... my favorite ... salad gyros, fresh ingredients and crispy gyros, just great

It was OK. We had the appetizer platter as a starter and the platter for 2 people as the main course. The portions are huge. One can argue about the quality ... There was clearly too much oil on the salad. The appetizer platter had more salad on it than Greek starters, and far too little bread was served. The main course for 2 would easily have been enough for 4 people. The restaurant is small but nicely decorated. The price is great in relation to the portions.
